The EDI Integration Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of EDI systems and processes. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless data exchange and integration. This position will identify opportunities for EDI to improve critical business functions, document requirements for new requests and implement solutions.

Responsibilities: Configure and maintain EDI systems to facilitate data exchange with partners. Set up EDI maps, protocols, and communications for various transaction types (e.g. 850, 856, 810)

Collaborate with IS and business partners to ensure accurate data mapping and integration between EDI systems and internal applications (ERP, etc.). Monitor data flows and troubleshoot integration issues as they arise. Conduct testing of EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with partner specifications. Document and resolve discrepancies in data exchange. Maintain and update detailed documentation of EDI processes, configurations, and issues. Documentation should include mapping specifications, process flows and user guides. Generate reports on EDI performance metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Sales, Finance) and external partners to support EDI initiatives and troubleshoot issues. Provide training and support to users on EDI processes and tools. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the EDI framework by analyzing current workflows and identifying inefficiencies. Develop and implement Lean strategies and methodologies, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by leveraging on-line technical resources, attending conferences, establishing personal and professional relationships, attending formal training classes, and pursuing certifications where appropriate. Stay updated on industry trends, EDI standards, and best practices.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in EDI Experience with EDI mapping, integration, and support Experience with EDI standards and protocols such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, API, etc. Experience with ERP systems and their integration with EDI. Experience working with EDI 800/900 series transactions (Retail, Logistics, or Manufacturing EDI experience helpful) Other technical skills such as SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, C++ Ability to manage and coordinate multiple EDI related projects simultaneously Work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills
