A local community bank is looking to add a new Credit & Risk Officer
As a Credit
& Risk Officer you will manage an experienced commercial credit team of 10 professionals and work hand in hand with the President/CEO. The right candidate will be in charge of evaluating loan documentation and proposals by confirming credit worthiness, improve loan applications and documentation by informing credit analysts of additional requirements and reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
Extensive experience with Current Expected Losses (CECL) Methodology 15 years in Commercial Credit or Lending. 5 years leadership/management experience Experience with Commercial, Consumer, and Retail Lending Possess strong credit experience and growth mindset Loyal and hard-working with a team first mentality Ability to analyze and underwrite loans, manage client relationships and cross sell bank products Familiarity of sales, commercial loan underwriting, processing and closing processes Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively Good communication skills
