Industrial Electrician
to join our team and ensure our manufacturing systems operate at peak performance. Key Responsibilities:
Install and Maintain Electrical Systems:
Perform the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including motors, drives, and high-voltage equipment critical to aerospace manufacturing operations. Control Systems Management:
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure smooth operation of automated machinery. Wiring and Component Assembly:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to assemble and connect electrical systems and components accurately. Equipment Diagnostics:
Use advanced diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging devices to identify and resolve electrical malfunctions. Motor and Drive Systems:
Install and repair AC/DC motors, VFDs, and servo systems, ensuring optimal performance in precision manufacturing equipment. Energy Efficiency Initiatives:
Evaluate and implement strategies to reduce electrical consumption and improve system efficiency without compromising quality or productivity. Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and aerospace industry standards. Preventive Maintenance Programs:
Develop and perform scheduled maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Emergency Repairs:
Respond to urgent breakdowns to restore functionality quickly, minimizing production delays. Collaboration:
Partner with mechanical, engineering, and production teams to support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or a related field preferred. Experience:
3 years as an industrial electrician, with experience in aerospace manufacturing or a high-precision industry. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with high-voltage systems and motor controls.
Certifications:
Journeyman Electrician or equivalent preferred. Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
