We’re looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to support our growing organization in managing our financial systems. This role requires expertise in DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) regulations and will initially be part-time, with the possibility of full-time based on performance and business demands. You’ll be instrumental in setting up QuickBooks accounts for our primary and two affiliated companies.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain QuickBooks Online accounts for multiple entities (one primary and two affiliates).
  • Ensure all accounting processes adhere to DCAA guidelines.
  • Handle routine bookkeeping activities, including transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, assist with audits, and maintain well-organized records.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline financial operations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of DCAA requirements.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, especially in account setup and management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Availability to start on a part-time basis, with flexibility for growth into full-time.
  • Must be located in Houston, TX (remote work).
