RealCold is hiring: Warehouse Supervisor in Denton

Description:

This position requires an uncommon blend of skills and experience to manage, lead and develop all activities of the Real Cold warehouse, e-commerce and distribution center in an atmosphere that puts the customer as the priority. The Warehouse Supervisor will possess a proven history of managing a distribution team with growth. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, giving his team direction through effective communication to ensure the work is completed safely and efficiently in a combination of cold and ambient temperature.

• Leads hourly warehouse team members safely through daily tasks in a metric driven environment
• Monitoring inventory & shipment transactions for accuracy & timely delivery to customers.
• Communicate effectively to team members regarding safety, engagement, expectations and work performance.
• Practice the clean as you go mentality across the warehouse and coach are team members to do the same.
• Ensuring direct and indirect labor practices are following annual budget program.
• Be Innovative at all times to practice the continuous improvement process and solicit ideas from our team members to show them that their ideas matter!
• Coach, lead and develop your team members regarding the metrics that will make the warehouse successful

Requirements:

• Three to Five years of distribution/warehouse management experience and leadership skills.
• Experience in a frozen warehouse environment with e-commerce or pallet pick and load.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
• Practice the art of inclusion in culture, demeanor and coaching of your team.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and to practice a culture of inclusion.
• Experience with several types of equipment including forklift, pallet jack and high reach forklift.
• Dedication to providing world-class customer service to your internal and external customers.
