Job Description
We are hiring a full-time position, which runs from 1pm to 9pm.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Foremost assisting the KICA membership and fellow staff using excellent customer service techniques during:
- Patrol operations
- Gate operations as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As assigned by the Supervisor, whether to the patrol or the gate operations.. Position may be selectively cross-trained.
Patrol operations consist of:
- Patrol 57+ miles of road on the entire island at least twice per shift.
- Observe all aspects of the environment, evaluate and take necessary steps as outlined by security’s policy and procedure manual.
- Other special assignments such as messengers, communications coordinators,
- Gate operations as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Foremost, the ability to use excellent customer service techniques, even when under stressful or difficult conditions. Also requires the ability to discern and diagnose normal situations from emergency situations and to respond in either case using excellent customer service techniques. Requires the ability to use the same techniques on the phone to fix or broker problems.
- This position requires a “can do” attitude and requires a candidate’s disposition to be friendly at all times to all persons they come in contact with, whether other employees, members or others.
Other qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment mandatory drug test and rigid background check with no convictions for DUI and no criminal convictions.
- Maintain a valid South Carolina Driver’s License
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to qualify for and maintain a SLED registration
- Are able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
