About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll be the friendly face of our company, interacting with patients during routine health checks and life-changing health decisions. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Accurate Blood Draws: Skillfully collect high-quality blood samples, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Process Excellence: Prepare specimens for lab testing, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
- Exceptional Patient Care: Build trust and confidence with patients, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
What You'll Need:
- Essential Skills:
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA)
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry
