We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in ELGIN, Illinois. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be expected to manage customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately compile data for customer business reviews, price adjustments, rebates, and catalogs.
• Perform customer onboarding by ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and on file. This includes coordinating location validation and attending internal onboarding meetings.
• Regularly process assigned recurring reports.
• Analyze data and make recommendations based on the insights drawn.
• Respond to interdepartmental requests submitted through the shared inbox in a timely manner.
• Manage corporate customers by working cross-functionally to complete price adjustments and rebates.
• Conduct analysis for price file uploads to prevent loading low-profit pricing.
• Assist with researching, verifying, and releasing order holds for low profit and price discrepancy flags.
• Maintain a proactive nature with a sense of urgency in managing long-term projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.• Must hold a minimum of 1 year experience as a Customer Service Representative
• Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing call center customer service
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
• Skilled in data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Exceptional at email correspondence, able to respond promptly and professionally
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls in a detail oriented setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required
• Familiarity with order entry systems and procedures
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
