Job Description
Robert Half has partnered with an industry leading organization west of Toledo as they look for a strong Accounting Manage. This is a tremendous opportunity for growth with a successful (and growing) organization. As the successful candidate you will:
Responsibilities:
• Conduct accurate and comprehensive general ledger accounting and maintenance
• Manage the period-end financial accounting close process, including the ERP system close
• Oversee multi-company consolidation and revenue recognition accounting
• Handle cash and other balance sheet reconciliations and fixed and intangible asset accounting
• Take charge of prepaid expense management, lease accounting, and expense management and analysis
• Carry out GAAP accounting research and apply the results to business transactions
• Conduct comparative period expense variance analysis
• Play a significant role in various aspects of the annual audit and completion of various exhibits and audit requests
• Support other projects as assigned, which could include future acquisitions, enhancements to the overall closing and reporting process, or ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate will likely possess:
• 4+ years of financial reporting & month end close.
• Strong understanding and application of US GAAP. (CPA ideal, but not required)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
