Sara Walker with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in WILSONVILLE, Oregon. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, managing a range of accounting functions such as bookkeeping, reconciliation, accounts payable, receivable, financial reporting, payroll processing, tax support, client support, and compliance.


Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain precise client financial records

• Execute monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

• Handle the processing of invoices and payments for clients

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments

• Prepare and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Assist in the creation of budgets and forecasts for clients

• Process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations

• Collaborate with CPAs to prepare client tax documentation and reports

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and build long-term client relationships

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies

• Maintain organized digital records for audits and compliance purposes

• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Data Entry is expected, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a must, including understanding of its various functions and features.
• The candidate should possess strong numerical skills and an ability to handle complex calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are expected.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills are crucial.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards is essential.
