We are in need of a proficient Accounting Assistant for our operations based in Woburn, Massachusetts. The role primarily involves managing accounting functions, handling accounts receivable, and ensuring efficient payroll processes. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity and will be a significant part of our team, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial activities.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts receivable and cash applications to maintain up-to-date and precise records.
• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and promptly.
• Oversee in-house payroll operations, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Respond to and resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees, maintaining high levels of customer service.• Proficiency in various accounting functions is required
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Familiarity with Cash Applications is necessary
• Knowledge in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a must
• Experience with in-house payroll systems is preferred
