We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky. As an integral member of our team, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations. Responsibilities:
• Ensure the maintenance of all accounting records, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Review and record payroll activity in the general ledger, ensuring reconciliation with quarterly 941 tax filings.
• Efficiently manage the processing of accounts payable invoice payments.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of annual and monthly tuition and fee billings.
• Set up and manage parent accounts for monthly ACH payments, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Maintain and update monthly statement of cash flows through regular bank statement reconciliation.
• Prepare all necessary schedules for the annual financial audit, liaising with the public accounting firm as required.
• Supervise the Business Office administrative assistant, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Handle the preparation, recording, and processing of all benefit plan payments.
• Utilize various accounting software systems, like ADP and BlackLine, to streamline accounting functions.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of BlackLine software is preferred
• Familiarity with Concur expense management system
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Solid understanding of Auditing principles
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
