Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. As the primary on-site accounting lead, you will manage and optimize daily accounting functions, coordinate financial transactions, and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting. This role is essential for maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. Additionally, you will handle some administrative duties, including mail processing and payment coordination.

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reports in alignment with GAAP and organizational policies.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and lead a team of onsite and offshore accountants, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or senior accountant role.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards, including SOX or similar standards.
