Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. This role will focus on managing financial reporting, data analysis, and ensuring compliance within the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee general ledger maintenance and review journal entries for accuracy.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Manage standard costing, cost variance analysis, and provide cost control recommendations.
Ensure GAAP compliance and coordinate audit activities.
Optimize financial systems and processes while providing training and support to accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Big 4 experience and CPA preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
