Seeking a highly motivated and energetic EA/PA to work alongside a busy CEO in the farming industry. This position is full time and will work under a hybrid model and will be a combination of remote work, in person meetings in North Chicago area, and, on occasion day-trip to Iowa during farming season. In addition to EA/PA responsibilities the ideal candidate would also be able to work with the CEO and his various teams, marketing and HR.

 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to anticipate needs and solve problems efficiently
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive assistant and personal assistant
  • Four- year degree preferred
  • Provide tech support-updating apps and computer software
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software used by the operation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and integrity


Responsibilities

  • Seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive and Personal Assistant to serve as a partner to the CEO
  • Manage and prioritize the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings. Build agendas for weekly internal meetings with CFO, COO.
  • Create digital files of meeting notes and keep lists of outstanding items that need the CEO’s attention
  • Conduct research and compile information for decision-making processes
  • Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Assist with personal errands and making appointments as needed
  • Assist in planning and organizing annual employee events with other team members
  • Screen and respond to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Track expenses and send receipts to accounting
  • Work with CEO on sorting resume and identifying talent; setting up interviews as needed.
  • Basic HR skills a plus: assisting new employees with paperwork remotely.
