Seeking a highly motivated and energetic EA/PA to work alongside a busy CEO in the farming industry. This position is full time and will work under a hybrid model and will be a combination of remote work, in person meetings in North Chicago area, and, on occasion day-trip to Iowa during farming season. In addition to EA/PA responsibilities the ideal candidate would also be able to work with the CEO and his various teams, marketing and HR.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to anticipate needs and solve problems efficiently
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive assistant and personal assistant
- Four- year degree preferred
- Provide tech support-updating apps and computer software
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software used by the operation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of discretion and integrity
Responsibilities
- Seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive and Personal Assistant to serve as a partner to the CEO
- Manage and prioritize the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings. Build agendas for weekly internal meetings with CFO, COO.
- Create digital files of meeting notes and keep lists of outstanding items that need the CEO’s attention
- Conduct research and compile information for decision-making processes
- Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Assist with personal errands and making appointments as needed
- Assist in planning and organizing annual employee events with other team members
- Screen and respond to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Track expenses and send receipts to accounting
- Work with CEO on sorting resume and identifying talent; setting up interviews as needed.
- Basic HR skills a plus: assisting new employees with paperwork remotely.
