One(1) FT Position Available:

Monday - Friday from 5:00 am - 1:00 pm

Pay Rate COE: $16.00 - $17.00 PH

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Execute thorough and repetitive cleaning tasks in designated areas, including production floors, machinery, and storage spaces.
• Adhere to established sanitation procedures using cleaning agents and sanitizers to maintain a sterile manufacturing environment.
• Ensure restrooms and breakrooms are cleaned, stocked, and meet hygiene standards.
• Collect and dispose of waste, following proper protocols for cleanliness and contamination prevention.
• Conduct regular floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and deep cleaning with commercial equipment as directed.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Focus on machinery and conveyor system cleaning to prevent build-up and maintain efficient production.

Supply Monitoring:

• Keep track of cleaning supplies, notifying supervisors for reordering.
• Possess knowledge of safe handling and storing of cleaning products and chemicals.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow emergency response procedures.
• Ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.

Exterior Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas, removing debris, snow, or ice for safe access.

Collaboration:

• Speak with supervisors and facility staff to address cleaning needs promptly.
• Report maintenance or repair issues to designated supervisors for resolution.

Security Awareness:

• Maintain awareness of security protocols and report suspicious activities to appropriate authorities.

Professional Conduct:

• Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and respect when interacting with staff and visitors.

Flexibility:

• Open to flexible work hours, including occasional evening or weekend shifts for special cleaning projects.

EXPERIENCE:

• Required: Basic understanding of cleaning, trainable, ability to read basic operating instructions.
• Preferred: One year of janitorial/custodial experience.

EQUIPMENT AND / OR MACHINES USED:

• Knowledge of vacuum cleaners, manual and automatic scrubbers, shampooing equipment, various-size mops, cleaning chemicals, and miscellaneous equipment.
