Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Salary: $24-$30 per hour (D.O.E.)
Job Description:
Adecco is currently helping a local client in Riverton, WY looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, as well as a passion for maintaining our fleet in optimal working condition. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines and related systems, including fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Component Replacement: Replace or repair defective parts, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance work, and parts used to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and shop personnel to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service and communication with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
