About the Role: As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in our team, designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on OCI for our clients. You’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical realities, translating client goals into secure, high-performing OCI architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions on OCI that align with client requirements. Ensure your designs prioritize scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
2. Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, technical needs, and constraints. Provide expert guidance on OCI’s capabilities and best practices to help them achieve their goals.
3. Technical Leadership: Lead the technical design and implementation of OCI solutions, providing direction and mentorship to technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Cloud Migration: Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execute plans to seamlessly transition them to OCI.
5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement IaC practices using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of OCI resources, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
6. Security and Compliance: Ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements. Implement robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
7. Performance Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize OCI solutions for performance, cost, and resource utilization. Leverage native OCI services and features to achieve optimal results.
8. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a cloud architect or a similar role (5+ years)
2. Strong understanding of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance
3. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
5. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
6. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and capabilities a plus!
