Selectek is hiring: Manufacturing Machining Engineer in Oak Creek

Selectek is looking for a Manufacturing Machining Engineer  to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes. Required: BSME: Mechanical Engineering degree or other closely related engineering degree or equivalent professional experience; Prefer Background in manufacturing or Hydraulics/Fluid Power At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience Ability to problem solve within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience training and supporting LEAN manufacturing initiatives Demonstrated success with automation projects Knowledge of PLC is a plus Experience with programming PivotWare is a plus Job Responsibilities: Develop, evaluate, Implement and improve manufacturing methods via process and capital budget improvements and equipment modifications Analyze and plan workforce standards, space requirements and workflow Design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency Responsible for tool and gauge design for the Machining Business Unit (MBU), and designing fixtures and tooling for the Assembly Business Unit (ABU) Provide technical process support via written manufacturing instructions Collaborate with DIP Team concerning tooling to ensure efficient production methods Serve as support to purchasing as expert regarding purchase of equipment, materials or parts and evaluate purchased products according to specifications and quality standards Responsible for documentation control Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions Confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to improve and understand the production processes Evaluate and apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential Contributes to developing and meeting operations budgets within engineering group; develop, submit and stay within capital expenditures for department Act as change agent to promote teamwork, respect, creativity, employment and confidence Other duties as assigned Sponsorship:  No Salary Range:  $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience Term of assignment:  Direct Hire WFH/Remote: No Hours & Shift:  Monday - Friday; 8:00AM – 5:00PM Overtime:  Some on occasion Travel:  No Work Attire:  Business Casual Does the client require a background check/drug test? Yes Please contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or Ljohns@selectek.com for more information.
