TITLE: Continuous Improvement Engineer
ENVIRONMENT: Industrial Manufacturing

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations
COMPENSATION RANGE: Competitive Compensation Plan
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
CITIZENSHIP: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work for any U.S. Employer
RELOCATION PACKAGE: Yes

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Experience in lieu of Bachelors, but a 4 year degree is preferred
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years
QUALITY EXPERIENCE: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kazan, or 5S or similar quality programs would be a solid plus

POSITION SUMMARY: How You Will Make an Impact
Are you ready to substantially impact manufacturing and operational processes? We seek a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support our Plant and Operations leadership. In this role, you will identify and implement strategies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Manufacturing Management and Assembly Experience: Proven background in managing and overseeing manufacturing processes and assembly operations.
• Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Strong understanding and application of Lean manufacturing principles.
MUST HAVE:
The Nuts and Bolts
• Identify and Facilitate Improvement Projects: Tackle projects aimed at reducing lead-times, improving inventory turnover, minimizing scrap and rework, achieving direct labor cost savings, and enhancing equipment reliability.
• Lead Project Teams: Work alongside the CI Manager to guide continuous improvement project teams and conduct training sessions to drive cultural change through practical, "learn by doing" exercises and workshops.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues through advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, ensuring smooth material flow, optimized project plans, and efficient production capacity and facility design.
• Value Stream Mapping: Lead value stream mapping initiatives to define "As-Is" processes and transition to "Future State" improvements.
• Develop and Conduct Compliance Audits: Ensure all processes meet required standards through rigorous compliance audits.
