ABOUT THE POSITION
The Site Merchandising Specialist I supports the overall ecommerce browse and sell-though objectives for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This person executes product setup and validation, data cleansing and enrichment, and helps optimize our site for product conversion. This role will assist with technical troubleshooting, project management, and communication with key stakeholders. The individual makes independent decisions in their day-to-day work to achieve timely and accurate product launches.
HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Sets up and executes all SKU launches on US and Canada sites. Maintains Master Styles List. Monitors production cycles in order to facilitate timely go-live.
- Strategically enriches product data with supplemental facets, filters, attribution, and product details. Cleanses data of inaccuracies, incomplete fields, and irrelevant details.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure all product copy is accurate, in brand voice, optimal for SEO, and relevant for each locale at time of launch. Partners with Product Content Specialist to place relevant imagery, videos, and badging.
- Completes the categorization and enrichment necessary to power emerging browse experiences, collection pages, gift guides, and other critical content and channel destination needs. Collaborates with cross-functional partners to proactively plan and rollout experiences as part of product go-live process.
- Helps optimize PDP content, site search, filtering, navigation, page sort, and product recommendation features.
- Supports promotion planning, product inclusion/exclusion rules, and pricebook maintenance as needed.
- Validates browse and product experiences with each replication. Maintains page and UPC activation and archival.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOU ARE
- A relentless problem-solvers dedicated to creating a positive consumer experience while delivering on business objectives.
- Great at having an eye for detail with a strong sense of urgency.
- An online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences.
YOUHAVE
- 2+ years' experience in project coordination or data processing with Site Merchandising, Product Marketing, or Product Lifecycle Management.
- Requires experience with Salesforce or other commerce platform.
- Working knowledge of a PIM solution strongly preferred.
- Analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics is a plus.
- Strong experience with collaborating with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- JIRA, or other issue tracking and project management software experience is a plus.
- Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment is preferred.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company.
- Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications.
