Job Description

As an Specialist, Creative Partnerships, Development (Sports), you will be responsible for working with key NBC Sports stakeholders to market and increase sales of the properties of NBC Sports, NBCSports.com, Peacock and NBC Sports Social platforms.

You will be required to collaborate across the full NBCUniversal One Platform ad sales ecosystem including global and local. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Partnerships, Development (Sports), you will work on linear, digital, and social platforms within NBC Sports portfolio of properties that includes NFL, NBA, College Football and Basketball, NASCAR, Horse Racing, Premier League, and Telemundo Deportes.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Work with all key stakeholders to develop sponsorable assets for sale across NBC’s portfolio of assets, primarily focused on NBA
  • Support RFP process from pre-sale ideation through execution
  • Catalogue all sponsorable elements across linear, digital, and social platform for internal and external use
  • Interface with key sales, planning, and research teams to ensure successful execution of all sponsorship elements
  • Analyze competitive landscape to highlight key trends and noteworthy integrations
  • Attend and manage custom content shoots by liaising between production and client
  • Oversee internal tracking system for all sales requests and marketing outputs
  • Write company overviews for sales group
  • Day to day budget administration

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience at an agency, media company, sales organization, where the individual was responsible for presentation, creative and promotion development
  • Sports/NBA/NFL and streaming experience preferred

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY in a hybrid capacity. Monday and Friday virtual; Tuesday - Thursday on-site. Flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate required
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to run and analyze SMRB, MRI, CMR data via computer retrieval systems
  • Understanding of and ability to analyze Nielsen data
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Business writing skills including presentation development
  • Understanding of the creative development process
  • Familiarity with the development and execution of promotions
  • Understanding of the promotion development and execution process and experience executing promotions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - with internal and external clients
  • Knowledge of media marketing, the sales process and media in general
  • Thorough knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc and presentation proficiencies

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000
