Your understandingof the design and functionality of your datacenter in support of 24x7x365 on-site datacenters operations and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) infrastructure while acting as the technical authority for on-site operations related to a large-scale mission critical MEP system, design, and functionality is critical to success. Youhaveresponsibilitiesincludingbutnotlimitedtobeingresponsiblefortheoverallenergyisolation program management at the site for MEP energy. Accountability toensure all activities relatedto the energy isolation process is coordinated and executed across the assigned location(s) according to established policies and procedures. Performance objectives should also include: · Ensure safe working conditions have been established by reviewing documentation (including procedures,jobhazardanalysis,andpermits)andauditingtheenergyprogramforconstruction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities · Workwithconstructionandcommissioningteamstoensuresafeworkingconditionstoproperly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems. · Supportthemanagementoftheelectricalinfrastructuresthroughoutdatacentercampusranging from a single large capacity facility to several smaller ones · PartnercloselywithEnvironmental,Health,andSafetyteamstodriveOperationalExcellencein all aspects of the Control of Hazardous Energy · TrainingnewandexistingemployeesindefinedEnergyIsolationprocessandprocedure Required Qualifications: · Bachelor'sdegreeinElectrical,Industrial,ProcessEngineering with 5 years of experience,orHS Diploma and 10 years ofrelated work experience · 5+yearsofexperiencewithindustrialorcommercialfieldengineeringinmissioncriticalfacilities and electrical infrastructures · 3+yearsofexperiencedevelopingandsupportingprogramsinelectricalsafetyinalignmentwith NFPA70E,NationalElectricalCode(NEC), andOSHA requirements as it relates toDataCenter best practices · 3+yearsofexperienceintheControlofHazardousEnergyincomplexmissioncriticalinfrastructure Preferred Qualifications: StrongexperiencewiththeoperationandmaintenanceofbuildingMEPsystems.(Power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, life safety, and controls systems) Establishedunderstandingofelectricaltheoryandpracticalapplicationviayourmaintenance& operation of critical electrical equipment. (Paralleling switchgear, redundant UPS systems, DC battery strings, multi-source electrical utility switchgear, standby diesel generators, etc.) Knowledgeofconstructiontechniques,terminology,anddocumentation(Yourabilitytointerpret blueprints, electrical one-lines, construction drawings etc.) Practicalexperiencewithbuildingmanagementsystemsandautomation,controls&frameworks Abilities: Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. Sitting for extended periods of time. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
