The Role: Lateral Associate - Labor & Employment (Washington, D.C.)
We are seeking an experienced and driven Lateral Associate - Labor & Employment to join a prestigious team in Washington, D.C. This role focuses on employer-side litigation, offering the opportunity to work on significant class and representative actions, as well as advisory and investigative matters.
In this position, you will:
- Represent clients in class and representative actions involving wage and hour disputes and discrimination claims.
- Provide counsel and conduct investigations on labor and employment matters.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality legal services.
Were looking for candidates who bring:
- Experience: Law school graduate from 2016-2020 with at least three years at a peer law firm specializing in labor and employment law. Prior experience in class actions is highly preferred.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Skills: Expertise in employer-side litigation, exceptional legal research and writing abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Additional Qualifications: Proven ability to manage complex cases and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
This opportunity offers:
- Competitive Compensation: A salary range of $310,000 - $435,000 annually, based on qualifications.
