Athletic event workers defined as:
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Athletic Event Staff Employee is to sell tickets, take tickets, guard gates. Provide general information and assistance to guests as well as monitor and enforce policies and procedures. Event staff will interact directly with teams, coaches, spectators, officials, patrons and guests and act as the initial point-of-contact. This person will need to be able to solve on-the-job issues by utilizing effective critical thinking and decision-making skills. They must possess the ability to work with diverse populations.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
The successful applicant must have the following on file before they can begin work:
The successful candidate must complete any VectorSolutions/Safe Schools courses as recommended and assigned by the Athletic Director.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with teams, coaches, spectators, officials, patrons, and guests and act as the initial point of contact
- Ability to sell tickets, take money, make a change, and tally up game funds with accuracy
- Handle complaints, issues with tickets, and provide customer service in a fair, professional, and courteous manner
- Ability to solve on-the-job issues by utilizing effective critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Interact with the public on a regular basis; must maintain a welcoming and optimistic attitude even in difficult situations
- Communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, game workers, parents, students, and fans
The successful applicant must have the following on file before they can begin work:
- Current favorable BCI and FBI background checks
- Negative drug test result
The successful candidate must complete any VectorSolutions/Safe Schools courses as recommended and assigned by the Athletic Director.
