Description
Superintendent for commercial ground up projects in Los Angeles will do the following:
- Plan and coordinate project activities inline with company polices and procedures
- Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
- Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure on time project delivery
- Communicate effectively, establish and foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs changes for project completion
- Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site
- Work directly with the project managers to prepare schedules, organize the structure, select staff, and handle the construction equipment.
- Direct and control the project to ensure specifications and guidelines are met
- Contact, schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and utilities.
- Assist in the activities of the project manager/engineer.
- Hold job site meetings with project managers and the regional manager.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the retail construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of retail construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Job Offer
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
