Job Title: Night Shift Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee a night shift project involving an elevator renovation at a National Courthouse in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate should have a strong Experience in safety and construction management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Responsibilities Recommend measures to protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health or safety. Investigate accidents to identify causes and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future. Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. Collaborate with the team to institute control or remedial measures. Essential Skills Quality control OSHA 30 certification Experience in construction and site safety Knowledge of USACE safety protocols Experience as a Site Superintendent Ability to obtain GSA badging or clearable status Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with NAVFAC procedures Experience in managing federal contracts Work Environment Work will be performed on-site at a National Courthouse in Washington, DC, near the Capitol building.
