Duties and Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Encourage residents to socialize and engage with each other to keep their spirits healthy. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens.
- Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor.
- Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data.
- Take vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.
- Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Reports to the Director of Nursing.
- Create a safe environment where residents can thrive.
