Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant technical field, to include:
- Logistics support of C5ISR requirements
- Experience tracking software and hardware
- Experience tracking licenses, warranty, and vendor information for hardware and software systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes
- Integrated Logistics Support experience is required
- Experience with provisioning and nomenclature development, XSFTs, COP/Install & MAINT work files utilizing CDMD-OA and/or MBPS, ILS Certifications, develop/revise User's Logistics Support Summaries (ULSS), initial preparation and dissemination of technical manuals
- Experience with CMPRO or DoD inventory / logistics management tools for input and tracking of material
- Excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Word)
- Experience with researching equipment and software for quotes for building and maintaining a Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Experience supporting and communicating directly with customer
- Proficiency of prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines
- Must be able to plan, form, maintain, and present large amounts of data to appropriate parties in required time frames
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years experience, or associates with five (5) years experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle (Acquisition) Logistics Level I, or equivalent logistics training
- Experience in Logistics Support
- Configuration Management experience a plus
- Experience with MS EXCEL and ACCESS highly desired
- Individual must be able to pass the Navy maritime Model Based Product Support (MBPS) exam within 90 days of hire
- Acts as a member of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team
- Develops and maintains program specific logistics technical documentation, such as: Logistics Schedules, Action Item Tracking Sheets, Program Briefs & Presentations, Naval Messages, Logistics Support Plans & Schedules, Technical Manuals, Training Materials, ILS Certification Sheets, Configuration Work Files, Installation Planning Documents, Provisioning Lists, MRCs, and nomenclature
- Supports logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistical actions required to support to NS IPT
- Provides support within the Navy's current logistics data systems that includes CM, provisioning, readiness modeling and technical data management within the MBPS Tool
- Utilizes the U.S. Navy's Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) system to develop and update COP files to list every piece of equipment and quantities at each project site
- Creates automated actions that alert appropriate parties to changes in data, timelines, or any other matrix pertaining to the program involved.
- Develops items for the ILS package deliverables for FRCB or ILS certification
