Responsibilities: Follow well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions. Take direction from Site Supervisor/Manager (and Team Lead) regarding daily duties. Independently make decisions and apply available resources to meet customer requirements. Analyze/maintain/reconcile various reports to ensure customer and ULS requirements are met. Show strength at capturing, communicating, and explaining job or site-specific performance metrics. Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems. Foster personal growth and development by keeping up-to-date with new policies and improvements independently of the site trainer and management team. Listen attentively to customer concerns, swiftly address dissatisfaction, and quickly identify a resolution strategy to aim for a first-call solution within the designated response times. Function optimally within a diverse, cross-functional team. Embrace Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies. Access & apply Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Intranet and SharePoint document management system. Always represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively across all customer locations. Carry out additional duties as required. Job-Specific Duties: General Customer Service. Stockroom/POU Management. Perform on-site program replenishment and disbursements. Oversee and assess stock rotation procedures. Maintain and evaluate inventory records monthly. Conduct Cycle Count inventory procedures accurately and ensure timely completion. Monitor inventory in consignment/customer owned stockroom daily. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customer and Fisher. Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values. 1+ years of progressive, relevant experience. Physical Requirements / Work Environment: Works primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work. Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens are in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc). Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be required, including lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, safety gloves, steel-toe shoes, bump hats, and/or safety glasses. Must consistently lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds; occasional lifting of 50 pounds may be necessary, using equipment like pushcarts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
