MIX is looking for you, someone who is looking for a great career and future growth !!
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong guest relationships with new and existing guests through community outreach efforts, networking, cold calls, and follow-ups.
- Community Engagement: Represent MIX at local networking events to foster connections and promote our venue.
- Event Coordination: Assist the Event Manager in booking various events, including corporate parties, social celebrations, birthday parties and reservations. Work directly with guests with budgeting, availability, and event details to ensure a seamless experience.
- Venue Tours: Provide guided tours of the venue to prospective clients, showcasing our venue and experiences.
- On-Site Event Collaboration: Work directly with your General Manager to plan and execute specialty on-site events that enhance the guest experience.
- Tracking & Reporting: Record biweekly commission earnings and monitor progress toward monthly sales goals.
- Communication: Share detailed event information with the management team, including timelines, headcounts, and logistics during a weekly BEO meeting.
- General Support: Perform other duties as needed to ensure the success of events and the satisfaction of guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture client relationships.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for event planning and community involvement.

What We're Looking For:
- Part-time availability, including some nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
- At least one year of sales experience, including event sales (inside and outside).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Tripleseat software is a plus.
- You must have full time, 7 day availability
- Organization skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Team development
- Upbeat personality and teamwork mentality
- 1 year sales experience
- Experience with both inside and outside general events
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the community
