Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing control panels for various applications.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to work with a variety of tools and technologies.
The Control Panel Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards and function effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assemble control panels according to specifications and schematics
- Perform electrical wiring, ensuring all connections are secure and meet safety standards
- Working knowledge of related components such as: Din Rails, PLC's, VFD Drives, Motors, Fuses, Relays, Power Supplies, Separators, Jumpers, Caps, Blocks, Bus, Switches, Terminal Blocks etc..
- Perform Lay-outs, Punch, drill, tapp, wire routing, labeling, cable terminating and crimping, etc..
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for assembly tasks.
- Test completed panels for functionality, troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively
- Knowledge of electrical wiring practices and safety protocols
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
