Description: You will be the Electronic Assembler Technician for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for fabrication and assembly of a variety of harness, cable, and circuit card assemblies. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: • Fabricate, modify, repair electrical/electronic systems, sub-assemblies and cable/harnesses. • Perform limited over-braiding functions under direct guidance from A or Lead Technician. • Prepare components such as plug-in Integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and install on printed circuit boards and terminal boards. • Prepare other components such as "front panel" hardware and install on sheet metal assemblies., prepare wiring for installation in sub-assemblies, prepare discrete and integrated circuit components and component leads for installation on printed wiring boards and other sub-assemblies including stripping, marking, shaping, pre-tinning and lugging wires. • Perform modification and repair of printed wiring assemblies including removal and replacement of components and wiring and repair of Printed Wiring Board etched circuits including "pad" replacement and bonding. • May completely assemble components and jumper wiring on printed wiring harness boards and other electronic sub-assemblies with the use of Production Planning instruction sheets, tools and shop aids. • Make simple continuity checks as required. • Use tools and equipment such as soldering iron, electric drills, swaging tools , lead benders, 30x microscope, wire cutters, crimpers, strippers, Pantograph Tool Wiring Aid, and miscellaneous hand tools. • Materials used consists of various gauges of insulated and bus wire including extremely small gauges (26-40 or smaller), wiring accessories, terminal lugs, discrete and integrated circuit-components, attach hardware including nuts, bolts, Teflon and mica-insulation washers and material, specialized bonding material, and printed wiring board conformal coating and encapsulation materials. • Work to wiring diagrams and specifications when required. •May occasionally assist in the operation of Surface Mount Technology. • Maintain own work area in a clean and orderly in accordance with Class I to Class IV Clean Room requirement. • Zero months to one year experience. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
