Survey Field Technician

We are currently seeking to add a Survey Field Technician to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, Washington. *Salary: * $24 - $27 hourly *Employment Type: * Full-time *Benefits: * Comprehensive benefits package (see below) The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working on a Survey Field Crew. The candidate must work well with staff and clients, have good organizational skills, and exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills in dynamic work environments. Above all, a love of the outdoors and the ability to work outside in all seasons is highly encouraged. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Ability to take accurate and legible field notes. Familiarity with and/or ability to operate within the Trimble ecosystem (Trimble data collectors with Trimble Access software, Trimble S series robotic total stations and Trimble R series RTK GNSS receivers). Ability to work outdoors 12 months a year through adverse weather elements. Valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to be insured by our auto insurance. Desirable Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Experience as a Survey Field Technician PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Survey Crew Chief with calculations for boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA surveys. Assist with adjustment and calibration of Survey equipment. Maintain the inventory of consumable supplies in the work truck. Keep the work truck clean and organized.
