Adecco is assisting a client in Newark, DE in their search for a Assembly Technician. This is a temp opportunity with weekly pay at $20.25 an hour. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, apply now !
As an Assembly Technician you will be working in a fast paced manufacturing environment and must be able to follow established safety guidelines. You will most often be standing, and you will need to regularly walk, bend, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry 15 pounds multiple times per shift.
Depending on where you are assigned, you may be responsible for manual component assembly, equipment operation, preparing kits for assembly, material kitting, loading/unloading the furnaces, standard work creation, material/tool cart improvements, using designated inspection equipment, performing minimal tool preventive maintenance, screen printing, or other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:

Manufacturing or Production experience
-
Experience with Hand tool & Power tool
-
Ability to work 10 hours on their feet

Warehouse experience , especially picking and packing
Preferred Requirements:
-
Mechanical assembly or Electrical assembly experience

Experience with equipment such as electric forklift , propane forklift , sit-down forklift, or pallet jack

Knowledge of Cycle counting and Inventory
Available Schedules;
- 1st Shift 7am-5:30pm
Pay Details: $19.25 to $21.25 per hour
