Overview

Knowledge Services is seeking a Training Coordinator for a project through the end of June 2025 (potential for extension) in support of the State of Indiana Department of Revenue.   Role may be contract to hire!

  • Pay rate is $22/hr
  • Role will work 37 1/2 hrs per week on Mon - Fri from 8am - 4:30pm
  • Person will work onsite in the Southwest side of Indianapolis and parking is provided!
  • Applicants must be able to pass a tax check for eligibility
Responsibilities

Training Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Serves as a Training Facilitator at the Indiana Department of Revenue Motor Carrier Services (MCS) Division.

• The facilitation involves leading training courses using existing programs related to a variety of areas within MCS.

• Will apply research-based and technical knowledge in the development and facilitation of training.

• Programs aimed at improving internal and external customer service will be included along with meeting other critical training needs.

• Researching and learning assigned training topics via existing training programs and coordination with the training program specialist and subject matter experts• Planning, scheduling and delivery of hands-on classes designed to assist MCS employees with learning specific technical and behavioral job skills• Implementing assessments where appropriate to ensure skill transfer is successful• Providing on-site and remote assistance to trainees after training facilitation is complete

Qualifications

Training Coordinator Required Skills:

• Facilitation experience with classroom and online training• Knowledge of learning techniques and practices• Ability to acquire information and data as needed• Verbal and written communication skills• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Teams experience• Positivity and patience
