Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Business Development Executive to join a leading professional services company and focus exclusively on Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sector with regards to capture and business development. The Business Development Executivewill help to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and win contracts for a company that has formerly supported 8a awards and is focusing on larger contracts. This position is hybrid with occasional on-site requirements in Mclean, VA.
Responsibilities for the Business Development Executive include:
- Develop growth strategy for the organization, identify new business opportunities, qualify deals, and implement strategies to ensure high win probability.
- Monitor market trends, perform analysis, provide and develop reports and updates on growth performance.
- Target various contracts within the DHS and CBP space, respond to RFPs, assist with proposals, and help develop BD initiatives.
- Present to government stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships, and help the growth of the organization in the years to come.
- 10+ years of experience with capture and business development
- A focus on CBP business development with multiple success stories supporting various programs
- Proven ability to win revenue-generating contracts
- Must be local to the DC area able to go on-site in Mclean, VA as needed
Compensation for the Business Development Executive:
• Salary Range: $150,000-240,000 depending on experience
• Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Bonus, Sick leave as required by law, etc.
