Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT), head-quartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is a manufacturer of thermal management products for diverse industries and applications, including commercial satellites, military vehicles, medical devices, primary calibration equipment, and HVAC systems. Position Summary:
Perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for commercial and/or government customers

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide quality engineering support to engineering groups during all phases of product development
  • Provide quality support to manufacturing department - Process mapping, process control, SOPs CAPA, test procedures, in-process inspections, final source inspections
  • Develop testing and inspection strategies (tooling, fixtures, gauging, instruments, equipment, etc.) for incoming, in-process and final source inspections
  • Develop and control quality documentation
  • Support supplier development activities through inspections, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation
  • Plan and assist in the execution of quality audits to assure compliance with the company quality management system.
  • Support, coordinate, and participate in all functions of the ACT Quality program
Education Skills & Experience:
  • BS in engineering or technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of QA experience in a regulated industry, aerospace industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality system regulations/requirements.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence status required due to ITAR responsibilities
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAPA, etc.
  • Understanding of statistical techniques (SPC, DOE, ANOVA, probability theory, sampling distributions, Minitab, etc.)
  • Experience in GD&T, Risk Assessments, FMEA, Control Plans, Total Quality Management, ISO 9001 and AS9100.
