Description
CME Associates is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Monmouth Junction, NJ. The successful candidate will support environmental engineering projects related to environmental site assessments, remediation, and compliance. You will work closely with senior engineers to provide technical support on environmental issues, perform fieldwork, and assist with environmental permitting and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to identify and evaluate environmental liabilities.
- Assist in environmental remediation design and implementation, including soil and groundwater sampling.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and environmental permits in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform data analysis, and help develop solutions for pollution control and prevention.
- Support field investigations, including site inspections and sampling programs for air, water, and soil quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, site assessment, or remediation.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance (e.g., EPA, NJDEP).
- Proficiency in using engineering software and GIS for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
