This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Estimator Indianapolis, IN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, some OT possible

LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN

PAY RATE:$75,000-$150,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary

Prepares Cost Estimates for all aspects of electrical construction Projects utilizing construction plans and specifications in accordance with company estimating guidelines and related Industry standards,

Serves as front-line point of contact on behalf of company on bid days.

Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.

Coordinates total estimating effort relevant to particular bid/project as assigned.

Supports other department personnel as required; may include preparing estimates in other disciplines and assisting Project Mangers with job start-up and change-order costs.

Maintains existing relationships with owners and GC's.

Works with PACT team to determine which projects to bid; works with same team to determine profitable vertical markets. Work with PACT to set Yearly goals and strategies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Several Years of estimating or cost control and/or engineering experience in the industrial construction industry; design-build quality project experience preferred. Experience estimating for a Union contractor preferred but not necessary. Experience in Healthcare, Industrial and Commercial projects preferred.

Strong computer Skills (EXCEL) and exceptional Knowledge/experience utilizing complex project management software and construction estimating software including ACCUBID.

Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems and reading/comprehending blueprints.

Ability to perform routine maintenance and pricing updates to ACCUBID database.

Working knowledge of industrial building condes and related systems/controls.

Strong math, reading. organizational and analytical/critical thinking skills.

Ability to work effectively and an estimating team member.

Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and written/verbal skills.

Successfully pass pre=employment (post-offer) background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, Drug test as may be required per federal or client contract or DOT policy.
