Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage within the team, showing an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Ensure instrumentation is prepared for daily use before initiating assays.
- Maintain the laboratory space, keeping the workstation tidy and organized.
- Complete training for basic operations within the Electrophoresis group; may include pH, conductivity, reagent preparation, ELISA, cell culturing/passaging, cell banking, and bioassay.
- Review general assays for shared lab tasks; may include conductivity, pH, reagent preparation, and room cleans.
- Advance potential quality issues to co-workers and/or supervisors.
- Follow SOPs strictly, without deviation from procedure.
- Understand cGMP and GDP.
- Determine daily schedules and complete routine testing efficiently and accurately.
- Apply Data Integrity principles in all aspects of work, in compliance with Lonza DI policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Understand and carefully adhere to instructions.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
- Strong ability to interpret data both independently and with direction.
- Take ownership of work responsibilities, seeing them through to completion.
- Demonstrate timeliness in completing assigned tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated standout colleague with the ability to relate to others in a collaborative environment.

Additional preferred skills for this role include:
- Previous experience in Quality Control, especially in a scientific setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory protocols and industry standards.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
