Job Title: Assembler 1 Job Description Under the direction of production supervision, the Production Assembler I builds the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost while meeting company production standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Assemble products following Engineering documents to ensure the highest quality products that meet company standards, production goals, and customer specifications and delivery requirements. Operate a computer to check schedules and update the manufacturing status of jobs. Perform operator-based Go-No Go testing per procedures. Continually monitor the quality of parts used in the assembly process. Assist in the training of other employees, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems. Perform material handling activities as required. Review assembly processes and methods and recommend changes to ensure the continuous improvement of productivity and quality. Interface with engineering to accurately communicate information. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets, etc. Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Essential Skills High School diploma 1 year of mechanical assembly experience 1 year of experience with hand tools and power tools 1 year of experience with blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrical experience preferred Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
