Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, has opportunities for caring and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses. Full-time and part-time opportunities for LPN's are typically available on all shifts, in our Skilled Nursing Facility and in our Short Term Rehabilitation Center.
Newly-hired LPN's are eligible for competitive pay rates and generous shift differentials ($3.00 extra per hour on the evening shift, $2.00 extra per hour on the night shift, plus $1.00 extra per hour on weekends).

Brethren Village's LPN's provide the highest-quality clinical care, while fostering positive and supportive relationships with older adult Residents, to enhance their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Our LPN's work cooperatively with RN's and CNA's to monitor health status and provide direct patient care.

Typical Work Schedules
- Full-time, benefits-eligible, 37.5 to 40 hours per week: 8-hour and 12-hour schedules are typically available on all shifts; work days will vary a bit from week to week and typically include every other weekend and holiday; some Monday through Friday positions are available
- Part-time: part-time schedules are typically available on all shifts, including some 4-hour shift schedules and weekend-only schedules
Requirements
Core Requirements:
- a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- basic computer skills: the ability to access and navigate web sites, and use software, apps, and databases independently
- the ability to complete online training independently
- dependability: ability and willingness to meet attendance standards
- attention to safety: ability and willingness to consistently work in a safe and alert manner, and to report to work fit for duty; commitment to wearing protective equipment as required for the position and adhering to all health and safety standards
- commitment to treating each Resident, Team Member, and member of the Brethren Village community with respect
- valid PA LPN credentials
- current CPR and First Aid certification
- ability and willingness to provide effective guidance and coaching to CNA's
- willingness to provide assistance to Residents, including Residents with cognitive impairment, with their dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and bathroom needs when needed
- the ability to safely transfer Residents, properly using mechanical lifts when necessary; to safely push adult Residents in wheel chairs; to safely assist Residents who may begin to fall
- the ability to quickly and safely assist Residents during emergency evacuations and other emergency situations
- the ability to remain calm and provide effective care in a fast-paced environment
- understanding of HIPAA privacy regulations
- ability and willingness to work every other weekend and holiday
