Role: Network Lead/Architect

Location: Lansing, MI (Onsite)

Job Type: Fulltime (USC & GC)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role requires a flexible, senior/lead engineer who can manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Manage the P1/P2 MIM bridges and handle customer escalations. Should be flexible and instrumental in addressing customer expectations in business & non-business hours efficiently. Deploy Network infrastructure and execute services covering the installations, testing, cutover, migration and troubleshooting.

• Ability to design, manage a WAN, LAN network with complex network technology.
• Responsibility for various stages of network development. This may include design, analysis, configuration, testing and fixing issues with the network infrastructure or application components.
• Troubleshooting of Catalyst / Nexus switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, ASR / ISR routers.
• To assist in the planning, design, and implementation of data network projects.
• Provide technical support for projects as required.
• Advance trouble shooting on operational issues (L3 -Level)
• Configure and utilize a variety of network management tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow)
• Should be able to support EST working hours, working in shifts and on-call support.

Skills required.

• Should have 12-14+ years of experience.
• Must have: Strong understanding Cisco ACI - SDN and worked on installation/operations of the ACI environment. (Primary Skill)
• Strong Knowledge and hands on experience in Cisco catalyst switches and Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k etc.
• Must have: Strong understanding Cisco Firepower (Secondary Skill)
• Knowledge and hands on experience in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS in enterprise or service provider networks
• Strong knowledge on VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, AAA, PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco ISE).
• Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, firewalls.
• installation/operations of the ACI environment.
• Hands-on experience on F5 Load balancer (LTM, GTM)
• Preferred to have: Strong Knowledge on Cloud networking in Oracle cloud & Azure cloud.
• Good to have: Knowledge on Cisco Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi 6.0
• Good to have: Knowledge on ISE implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

• CCNA (R&S)
• CCNP
• CCIE - DC / CCIE- Security
