Squirrel Hill Health Center (SHHC), a dynamic and growing Federally Qualified Health Center, is hiring a full time Office Manager in our Bellevue location.
The Bellevue Office Manager will demonstrate leadership as she/he organizes, prioritizes and coordinates the multiple activities and tasks of the Bellevue front office coordinators and medical assistants while supporting, motivating and sustaining a team-oriented culture. The Bellevue Office Manager must be able to travel to other locations as directed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Bellevue Office Manager ensures that all support staff members at that site/s, including Front Office, Medical Assistants, Medical Records, and Behavioral Health Practice Support Specialists have the skills, knowledge, and equipment to perform their duties and meet both organizational and patient needs.
The Bellevue Office Manager will:

Provide direct services to patients in the front office and exam room(s) at the direction of the Director of Administrative Operations and will support the clinicians in providing high quality patient care to all SHHC patients.

Ensures that all necessary policies and procedures are in place; participates in writing, implementing, and monitoring these policies and procedures; and ensures that staff are fully educated regarding them.

He/she is responsible for:

Supervising Medical Front Office Coordinators and Medical Assistants.

Monitoring patient schedules, coordinating sequencing of urgent/walk-in patients, and providing assistance to co-workers to maintain a smooth and efficient patient flow for the entire clinic.

Assigning daily medical assistant provider coverage and provides ongoing performance feedback to the Directors of Administrative and Clinical Operations.

Completes chart audits for the Front Desk Coordinators and Medical Assistants.

The coordination of staff schedules.

Oversight of all relevant licensing activities and filing appropriate paperwork in a timely fashion.

Oversight of medical and office supplies, including ordering processes.

Ensuring smooth functioning of office space.

Supervising use of the electronic health record system.

Supervising accurate and timely record completion.

Participating in clinical and general staff meetings, and other management meetings as may be required.

The Bellevue Office Manager will demonstrate the values consistent with Squirrel Hill Health Center’s mission and will work with the SHHC team to make the Center a Medical Home for patients of all backgrounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent on the job training.

Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent on the job training.

At least five years’ experience managing a medical practice.

Experience with primary care practice as well as mobile medical units and/or dental practice preferred.

Medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge preferred.

CPR certified.

Ability to work in a busy multi-cultural environment, maintaining flexible hours and ability to travel to other sites.

Knowledge of a second language a plus.

Full COVID-19 Vaccination and compliance with any additional boosters or vaccinations required for all on-site staff, including this position.
