About the Position
As Senior Business Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to Support and Enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape.
This position acts as a critical liaison between the company's financial functions including Corporate Controllership, Regional Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Assurance, and the company's IT organization.

- Business Support
- Provides first-line support to users of financial applications.
- Responding to business user queries
- Providing one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operations
- Triaging data issues, process issues, and business user errors.
- Liaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business-related issues associated with systems.
- Partner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understood.

- Testing & Test Design
- Execute System integration testing.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing for new systems or enhancement releases. This involves assistance with the creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule.
- Coordinates integration testing validates test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing and training and obtains signoffs.
- Coordinates defects clarification, triage, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
- Performs Mock close on financial systems.
- Project Management
- Manages small to medium application releases and projects.
- Manages stakeholder expectations.
- Design release scope and schedule in line with a business goal, prioritization, and IT capacity
- Work with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix.
- System Configurations
- Configures applications in line with business goals.
- Designs forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmap.
- Develops configuration standards.
- Day to Day Support (Production Support)
- Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices.
- Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through the resolution.
- Identifies improvements to address repeat issues.
- Training and Change Management
- Works with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities.
- Defines, communicates, and implements support and engagement plans
- Analyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve.
- Provides Adhoc training to various financial users on key financial applications.
- Vendor Management
- Manages/leads individual consulting resources as assigned.
- Participates in vendor advisory boards and user groups.
- Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations, and software acquisitions.
- Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendations
- Extensive experience in Oracle Cloud GL with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP.
- Have in-depth finance and accounting functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into functional and configurable solutions.
- Worked as Systems Analyst or Support Analyst for Oracle fusion ERP application modules.
- Hands-on experience in designing and configuring ERP application implementation and maintenance.
- Worked in a couple of other Oracle fusion EPM application modules like BPCS, EDMCS, TRCS, ARCS, and PCMCS
- Worked on the other ERP sub-ledger modules like AP, AR, CM, PPM, and AGIS.
- Deep understanding or the end-to-end accounting transactions from sub-ledgers to GL.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a large multinational company.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to travel occasionally if needed.
- Preference to Accounting, computer science or mathematics related fields of study.
