The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator, working in Manufacturing industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

  • Coordinate with clients around the country for partial and full load needs
  • Negotiate with clients to ensure cost effective rates.
  • Conduct research into cost of delivery
  • Analyze potential profits of each prospective new account
  • Troubleshoot any problems in transit or at point of delivery
  • Communicate with the sales team to ensure client needs are met

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics management required
  • Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Good management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
