Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Technical Architect is instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Collaborates closely with IT leaders, developers, and stakeholders across departments to develop strategies that align company infrastructure with current and future business needs.
Responsibilities
Essential functions
Develops and maintains comprehensive infrastructure architectures aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Designs and support implementation of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, including network, server, storage, virtualization, and identity and access management. Analyzes existing systems to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards and company information security policies. Provides deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, with a strong focus on Intune, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Active Directory Domain Services, PowerShell scripting, and MECM. Designs, implements, and supports modern mobile device management practices utilizing Intune-based mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions. Provides guidance and strategic leadership to support Active Directory Domain Services and Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) environments. Develops and supports an automation and configuration strategy to reduce risks and streamline operational overhead. Implements and manages MECM for software deployment, patch management, and inventory management. Provides guidance for day-to-day infrastructure operations teams to support monitoring, troubleshooting, and cost/performance optimization. Develops and supports disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Manages infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and resource allocation. Mentors and guides junior team members in technical skills and best practices. Collaborates with other teams within the organization to ensure alignment and support business objectives. Minimum associate's degree in information technology or a related field. 8+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and operations. Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Intune, Active Directory Domain Services, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and MECM. Experience creating technical diagrams representing data flow between systems and the corresponding process documentation. Strong experience with network, server, storage, and virtualization technologies. Certification in relevant Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) preferred. Skills and Abilities

Salary Range: $97,000-$140,000 Border States provides bonuses to their employee-owners upon the achievement of branch and company goals.
