Job Details: Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison, Oncology - Great Lakes RegionVacancy Name: Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison, Oncology - Great Lakes RegionVacancy No: VN428Employment Type: Full TimeLocation of role: Great Lakes Region, United States (i.e. Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Western PA, West Virginia, or Illinois)Department: Medical Affairs - USKey Responsibilities:The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as the primary field-based point of contact with healthcare providers (HCPs) including clinical investigators on a range of clinical and scientific issues.Delivers and facilitates medical education and communications, research, and scientific insight gathering activities of Immunocore.Develops and maintains outstanding knowledge of immuno-oncology and relevant disease areas.Collaborates with cross-functional team to ensure the best patient care.Maintains and develops synergistic relationships with KOLs to expand research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.Engages with cross-functional team to ensure activities are coordinated with the team and aligned to strategy within Immunocore.Acts as an educational resource to internal stakeholders, providing medical/scientific knowledge, training, and support on Immunocore products.Serves as external, credible scientific expert on disease area and Immunocore products at HCP field meetings, key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, clinical investigator meetings, and patient advocacy group meetings.Identifies and maps HCPs and networks/referral patterns.Supports clinical operations in trial site identification.Experience & Knowledge:At least 3-5 years of MSL experience.Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).3 years of experience with Oncology (preferably Immuno-oncology and melanoma) required.Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in the oncology/immune oncology area.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Travel - 60%.Annual salary range: $160,000 - $221,000.
