The Opportunity:
CACI is currently looking to hire an experienced Database Administrator/Developer to join our mission critical team located in Suitland, MD. Join a high performing team on the cutting edge of innovation in intelligence, collection analysis, and production!

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of the program databases and support enhancement and migration based on client future requirements. This includes maintenance and update of the existing MS Access and PostgreSQL databases, transition of the MS Access database into RDS PostgreSQL instance to Amazon Web Services (AWS), and migration of the databases into a cloud environment. This may also require development of a new database architectures(s) depending on operating environment and customer requirements. You will work directly with end users along with the client and leverage your knowledge of database applications and software solutions to advise on future database requirements in support of intelligence and analytical operations. Experience with AWS and Linux based Operating Systems (RHEL 8) is desired but not required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Two (2) years of experience working with the military or IC agency.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Four (4) years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) to include MS Access, PostgreSQL, MS SQL or Oracle.
• Two (2) years of experience working with VBA.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
Desired:
• Six (6) years of experience with a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Six (6) years of experience working with MS Access.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP, MCSE, MCDBA) certification or equivalent.
